As reported last month, Rieju Motorcycles (who are they again?) inked a deal to the rights of the old GasGas platform off Torrot - the previous owner of GasGas. And here is what you can expect sometime this year-ish.

They have called these bikes their “Hard Off Road Range” and currently only hint at the 300cc two-stroke. But this will likely expand as time goes by.

You will be likely to see a 2021 model looking something like this some time in the middle of this year-ish. As for NZ goes - we don’t know of any Rieju importers or dealers so likelihood we see them here anytime soon is slim to none.

Rieju MR stands for Marathon and looks to be a throwback to their original range of off-road motorcycles. (check them out here).

Three different colour ways have been revealed and who knows which is going to be the final product. No hinting of any factory racing models either yet but its good to see that all the good components have been kept from the Gas Gas takeover.
